about
FOR FANS OF MUSIC:
This is a, fingers-crossed, attempt to bring Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason together. Pending their input, the project tentatively is called "Heroes for Ghosts." It's not a Pink Floyd album โ it is "Heroes for Ghosts" album-concept without any unncessary pressure added. The idea is that each person contributes 1 to 3 songs and we put it out as an album or EP ( for charity is okay, perhaps for the cancer trust or covid responders, or whatever the three want). I put the tracks I did for free to fans of music who encouraged the idea. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year (you can get them at the link).
FOR NICK, ROGER AND DAVID:
Dear David, Roger, and Nick,
If the internet is good for anything, it should be to bring people together, instead of the chaos we see everyday; and even better if it's for making art. The idea all started from a Tweet I posted; people really want to see you three put together an album, and so I went in the studio and in 24 hours I wrote the fretless bass tune, which I called "Heroes for Ghosts," followed by the other tracks to give us a concrete start point. I took a chance. If it doesn't work out, that's my bad luck and the the world's (because people really love you guys). Nevertheless, I tried to take the idea from 'empty-talk' to immediate creation.
For songs you contribute for the project, you can do them any way you want: There are no rules. Acoustically; or with your respective bands, or together, or together with me ... set your own parameters. There's no fuss in this. Be who you want to be. You don't have to be the guys from Pink Floyd, if you don't want to be. You can be anyone you want this time around. You can be Shiva, God of Love, this time around; you can be Heroes for Ghosts.

P.S. MY messages on Twitter are open. For me, it's not important that you are famous. I come from the Blues tradition and that kind of hoopla wasn't important then and it's not important now. I want to make meritorious art with 3 human beings, and even better if it's for a good cause. Bring to the project what you want. Strum and be counted. The project name, the album art ... all of that can be changed; it's just a starting off concept to get things rolling.

As soon as I heard the first few notes I could tell I was listening to something better. Metal but unique enough to stand out. Does it kind of remind me of Pantera, Spineshank, Hatebreed, Funeral for a Friend, Papa Roach, Sevendust, and Finch? Sorta. Michael

Dreamy atmospheric music, perfect for floating around your living room after hitting something up... Really relaxing and subliminal ambient music.
I could listen to this and easily slip into a deep sleep, and in fact next time I can't sleep I might try.
Random jungle animals tweeting in the background, I love it. El Tato
